Perspective of Sri Lankan friends about India

I was talking to owner of a big travel agency in Sri Lanka for affiliation. It soon turned into a sentimental pitch about their hatred against India.
I am doing my bit to voice their opinion - this is the least I can do!

Context:

• Janaka - owner of Sri Lanka reputed travel agency
• I was talking to him first time and was on Skype. 
• My Skype handle was "TravelTriangle Affiliates".

Please excuse the grammar.

[12:26:38] Janaka: we do not do business with Indians as a policy sorry
[12:27:14] TravelTriangle Affiliates: well, you only approached us. Mr Mohammed from your company did.

[12:28:34] Janaka: he is no more with us and we do not do further business with Indians as a result of what is going on between us and we do not tolerate the insult from your bad politcs too
[12:29:06] Janaka: there is nothing to do with your business we understand
[12:29:09] TravelTriangle Affiliates: I understand. We also hate our politicians like u do
[12:29:13] Janaka: but this is our company policy
[12:30:02] Janaka: it was a Buddhist land earlier now even pilgrims cant go there and worship
[12:30:12] Janaka: buddhagaya was came under attack
[12:30:24] TravelTriangle Affiliates: yes, it is very sad
[12:30:33] Janaka: your gov cant control your people
[12:30:44] TravelTriangle Affiliates: it is other way round
[12:30:49] TravelTriangle Affiliates: our people can not control our govt
[12:31:19] Janaka: specially they trained Tamil tigers and send here to fight us because indians do not wish that Srilanka will becoming success in business or anything
[12:31:37] TravelTriangle Affiliates: Trust me you are generalizing things
[12:32:05] Janaka: look RAW is behind all of these
[12:32:20] Janaka: i have served 10 years in the army and i know what was going on
[12:32:52] Janaka: so we hate now indians
[12:33:09] Janaka: you have enemy from the west
[12:33:27] TravelTriangle Affiliates: You have no reason to hate me, but I understand ur sentiments.
[12:33:32] Janaka: and no longer will become an enemy state for u
[12:34:09] Janaka: at least convey this msg to your colleagues and friends
[12:34:19] Janaka: i do not hate you
[12:34:29] TravelTriangle Affiliates: but i am an Indian :)
[12:34:32] TravelTriangle Affiliates: and so are my friends
[12:35:05] Janaka: we hate the politicians in Tamilnadu mainly and the govt.
[12:35:14] TravelTriangle Affiliates: yes they are pathetic
[12:35:15] Janaka: they betreaded us in the UN
[12:35:27] TravelTriangle Affiliates: most of the ppl here don't like them either
[12:35:33] Janaka: so how do we treat u as a friendly country
[12:35:40] TravelTriangle Affiliates: and new ppl are coming in politics who are more honest
[12:36:04] TravelTriangle Affiliates: yes it is very tricky
[12:36:10] Janaka: but the thing is all depend on your strategies and honesty is not the issue here
[12:36:31] TravelTriangle Affiliates: strategies is one thing but politicians are not the voice of ppl
[12:36:33] TravelTriangle Affiliates: and that is everywhere, not only India
[12:36:42] TravelTriangle Affiliates: I have so many SL friends
[12:36:48] Janaka: pakistan is being more friendly towards SL during the tiger war than India
[12:37:18] Janaka: belive me in very near future we will become 2 enemy states
[12:37:35] TravelTriangle Affiliates: cud be, cud be not. our politicians don't care
[12:37:46] TravelTriangle Affiliates: but if we start hating each other, then surely we will be 2 enemy states
[12:38:01] Janaka: coz SL is more towards China due to all the pressure being created by the indian govt
[12:38:46] Janaka: any way we should not waste time on this topic
[12:39:06] TravelTriangle Affiliates: yes, not wasting - i just didn't like the opening sentence and wanted to shout out my opinion

How to solve this dilemma? He is right, I am right, but yet there is kinda hatred in between.
